Installation

The 30mm EPS boards are initially secured to the substrate (masonry or timber) using mortar/adhesive, mechanical fixings, or a hybrid approach. The 30mm expanded polystyrene boards must then receive a protective outer finish, such as cladding or a mortar coating. The board's outer surface requires rasping or sanding to develop a textured finish before application of fiber mesh, followed by base coat or mortar application.
