150mm White Polystyrene (Graphite) represents a premium expanded polystyrene (EPS) board featuring integrated graphite technology that delivers exceptional thermal performance. The graphite particles embedded within the insulation beads work to reflect radiant heat, whilst the rigid closed-cell structure traps air effectively. Since air conducts heat poorly, this design significantly impedes heat transfer through your walls.
The graphite-enhanced composition of 150mm White Polystyrene (Graphite) boards creates a reflective barrier that bounces radiant heat multiple times as it passes through the 150mm thickness. This multi-directional heat reflection substantially slows thermal transmission and boosts overall energy efficiency for your property.
Within 150mm White Polystyrene (Graphite) boards, warm air must travel an indirect path towards cooler zones, which deliberately decelerates heat movement and maintains interior warmth. This design delivers improved thermal conductivity of 0.031 W/mK, outperforming conventional 150mm expanded polystyrene alternatives.

Installation
The 150mm EPS boards are initially secured to the substrate (masonry or timber) using mortar/adhesive, mechanical fixings, or a hybrid approach.
The 150mm expanded polystyrene boards must subsequently be protected with an outer finish, such as cladding or a mortar coating.
The board's outer face requires rasping or sanding to develop a textured surface before application of fiber mesh, onto which the base coat or mortar layer is bonded.
