150mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) represents a premium expanded polystyrene (EPS) board incorporating integrated graphite particles that deliver a distinctive grey appearance. The graphite content within the insulation beads reflects radiant heat, boosting thermal performance by approximately 20% when compared to standard 150mm white EPS insulation of equivalent thickness. This 150mm rigid EPS closed-cell product encapsulates air within each bead, and because air conducts heat poorly, it substantially reduces heat transmission rates.
Graphite particles distributed throughout the cell matrix of 150mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) boards create reflective surfaces and impart a striking dark grey finish. When radiant heat travels across the 150mm graphite insulation, it bounces repeatedly, dramatically decelerating heat flow and maximising energy performance.
Within 150mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) boards, warm air follows an indirect route towards cooler regions, decelerating heat transfer and maintaining interior warmth. This delivers superior thermal conductivity of 0.031 W/mK, outperforming conventional 150mm expanded polystyrene boards.

Installation
The 150mm EPS boards are initially secured to the substrate (masonry or timber) via mortar/adhesive, mechanical anchors, or a hybrid approach.
The 150mm expanded polystyrene boards must subsequently be protected with an external finish, including cladding or mortar coating.
The board's outer face requires rasping or sanding to establish a textured surface prior to application of fiber mesh, followed by base coat or mortar application.
Certifications
