Installation

The 120mm EPS boards are initially secured to the substrate (masonry or timber) using mortar/adhesive, mechanical anchors, or a hybrid approach. The 120mm expanded polystyrene boards must subsequently be protected with an external finish, such as cladding or a mortar layer. The board's outer face requires rasping or sanding to establish a textured surface before application of fiber mesh, onto which the base coat or mortar layer is bonded.
