110mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) is a premium expanded polystyrene (EPS) board featuring integrated graphite particles that deliver superior thermal performance. The reflective graphite within the insulation beads enhances thermal resistance by approximately 20% compared to standard 110mm white EPS insulation boards of equivalent thickness. This 110mm rigid EPS closed-cell construction traps air within each bead, and because air conducts heat poorly, it substantially reduces heat transmission.
The graphite particles integrated into the 110mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) board structure create a reflective surface and distinctive dark grey appearance. As radiant heat passes through the 110mm graphite insulation, multiple reflections occur, significantly slowing thermal transfer and boosting energy efficiency.
Within 110mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) boards, warm air travels an indirect path towards cooler air, decelerating heat transfer and maintaining interior warmth. This delivers improved thermal conductivity of 0.031 W/mK, surpassing standard 110mm expanded polystyrene boards.

Installation
The 110mm EPS boards are secured to the substrate (masonry or timber) using mortar/adhesive, mechanical fixings, or a hybrid approach.
The 110mm expanded polystyrene boards must then receive a protective outer layer, such as cladding or mortar finish.
The board's outer surface requires rasping or sanding to develop a textured finish before applying fiber mesh, onto which the base coat or mortar is applied.
