100mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) represents premium expanded polystyrene (EPS) board technology, infused with graphite particles that deliver a distinctive grey finish. The integrated graphite enhances thermal performance by reflecting radiant heat, delivering approximately 20% better insulation capability than standard 100mm white EPS insulation of equivalent thickness. This 100mm rigid closed-cell EPS board traps air within each bead structure, and because air resists heat conduction, it substantially impedes heat transfer.
Graphite particles dispersed throughout the 100mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) board structure create reflective properties and the characteristic dark grey appearance. When radiant heat passes through the 100mm graphite insulation, multiple reflections occur, dramatically reducing heat transfer and boosting energy efficiency.
Within 100mm Grey Polystyrene (Graphite) boards, warm air follows an indirect path toward cooler zones, decelerating heat transfer and maintaining warmer indoor conditions. This design achieves superior thermal conductivity of 0.031 W/mK, outperforming conventional 100mm expanded polystyrene boards.

Installation
The 100mm EPS boards are secured to the substrate (masonry or timber) using mortar/adhesive, mechanical fixings, or a hybrid approach.
The 100mm expanded polystyrene boards must be finished with a protective outer layer, such as cladding or mortar coating.
The board surface requires rasping or sanding to achieve a textured finish before applying fiber mesh, followed by base coat or mortar application.
