OSB, or oriented strand board, is a type of engineered wood product. It is made by compressing and bonding together layers of wood strands (small pieces of wood cut from logs) that are oriented in different directions. This gives OSB its strength and stability, making it suitable for a variety of construction and DIY projects. It is often used as a substitute for plywood, as it is less expensive and more readily available.

** OSB3** is made with a higher density and more resin than standard OSB, which gives it improved strength and durability. OSB3 is suitable for use as a sheathing material in walls, roofs, and floors of buildings, as well as for use in subfloors and underlayment. It is also frequently used in construction of sheds, barns, and other outdoor structures.
