This thin-coat acrylic render functions as a decorative finish layer for EWI systems, featuring a 1.5mm grain size that creates a textured surface finish. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, EWI-010 is not recommended for use with hard mineral wool panels in thermal wall insulation systems or on moisture-prone substrates such as fresh cellular concrete. For these scenarios, EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render paired with mineral wool insulation systems provides superior results.

Application

The EWI Acrylic Render System can be applied manually or via spray equipment. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to achieve thickness matching the grain size. Ensure sufficient labour on-site to complete full wall sections in one application, preventing visible joint marks where sections meet.

For a uniform textured finish, use a plastic float in circular motions across the render surface. This technique promotes even coverage and improves the finished appearance.
