This thin-coat acrylic render functions as a decorative finish layer for EWI systems, featuring a 1.5mm grain size that creates a textured, dimensional appearance on completed surfaces.

The EWI-010 Render performs effectively on both interior and exterior applications. However, avoid using this product in thermal wall insulation systems with hard mineral wool panels or on moisture-prone substrates such as fresh cellular concrete. For these scenarios, pair EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render with our mineral wool insulation systems for superior results.

Caution: When applying render to large wall elevations, select colours with a brightness coefficient (diffuse reflection) of at least 20%. These values are provided in the EWI Pro plaster and paint colour palette.

Application

The EWI Acrylic Render System can be applied efficiently through manual or spray methods. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to achieve thickness matching the grain size. Ensure sufficient labour on-site to apply the render system across full wall sections rather than partial areas, preventing visible joint lines where sections meet.

For a consistent, textured finish, employ a plastic float in gentle circular motions across the render surface. This method promotes even coverage and enhances the aesthetic quality of the completed application.
