However, avoid application to thermal wall insulation systems with hard mineral wool panels or moisture-prone surfaces such as fresh cellular concrete. For these scenarios, pair EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render with mineral wool insulation systems instead.

Application

The EWI Acrylic Render System accommodates both manual and spray application methods. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to achieve thickness matching the grain size. Ensure sufficient labour is available to complete full wall sections in one operation, preventing visible joint marks where sections meet.

For a consistent, textured finish, apply a plastic float in gentle circular motions across the render surface. This technique promotes even coverage and enhances the finished appearance.
