Supplied as a ready-to-use acrylic polymer formulation with a 1.5mm grain size, this render creates a textured surface finish suitable for both interior and exterior applications. Coverage rates of 2.4kg/m² mean one 25kg bucket covers approximately 9–10m².

EWI-010 performs optimally on standard substrates but is not recommended for hard mineral wool panels or moisture-prone surfaces such as fresh cellular concrete. For these applications, pair EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render with mineral wool insulation systems instead.

Application

The EWI Acrylic Render System accommodates both manual and spray application methods. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to match the grain thickness. Ensure sufficient labour on-site to complete full wall sections in one operation, preventing visible joint lines between application areas.

For a uniform, textured finish, use a plastic float with gentle circular motions across the render surface. This technique promotes even coverage and enhances the final appearance.
