Formulated as a decorative finish for EWI systems, this acrylic render features a 1.5mm grain size that creates a textured surface finish. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, it performs optimally on standard substrates. For hard mineral wool panels or moisture-prone surfaces such as fresh cellular concrete, we recommend pairing EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render with our mineral wool insulation systems instead.

Caution: When applying render to elevations with a large area, you should use colours with a brightness coefficient (diffuse reflection) of at least 20%. These coefficients are shown in the colour palette of EWI Pro plasters and paints.

Application

The EWI Acrylic Render System can be applied manually or via spray, using a notched trowel to match the grain thickness. Ensure sufficient labour on-site to complete full wall sections in one operation, preventing visible joint marks between application areas.

For an even, textured finish, employ a plastic float with gentle circular motions across the render surface. This technique guarantees consistent coverage and enhances the final aesthetic result.
