EWI Pro's Acrylic Render EWI-010 delivers robust external wall protection with excellent impact resistance and aesthetic versatility. This polymer-modified thin-coat render functions as a decorative finish layer for external wall insulation systems, featuring a 1.5mm grain size that creates a textured, dimensional surface.

Engineered for both interior and exterior applications, EWI-010 performs optimally on compatible substrates. We do not recommend this product for thermal wall insulation systems incorporating hard mineral wool panels or on moisture-prone surfaces such as freshly cast cellular concrete. For these scenarios, EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render paired with mineral wool insulation systems delivers superior results.

Caution: When applying render to elevations with a large area, you should use colours with a brightness coefficient (diffuse reflection) of at least 20%. These coefficients are shown in the colour palette of EWI Pro plasters and paints.

Application

The EWI Acrylic Render System can be applied manually or via spray application with equal ease. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to establish thickness matching the grain size specification. Ensure sufficient labour on-site to complete full wall sections in one session, preventing visible joint marks where application zones meet.

For a consistent textured appearance, employ a plastic float in gentle circular motions across the render surface. This method guarantees uniform coverage and enhances the finished aesthetic.
