This thin-coat acrylic render functions as a decorative finish layer for EWI systems. With a 1.5mm grain size, it creates a textured surface that adds visual depth to external elevations.

EWI-010 Render suits both interior and exterior applications. We do not recommend this product for thermal wall insulation systems incorporating rigid mineral wool panels or on moisture-prone substrates such as freshly laid cellular concrete. For these scenarios, pair EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render with our mineral wool insulation systems for superior results.

Caution: When applying render to large wall areas, select colours with a brightness coefficient (diffuse reflection) of at least 20%. These coefficients are detailed in the EWI Pro plasters and paints colour palette.

Application

Applying EWI Acrylic Render System is straightforward, using either manual or spray application methods. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to achieve thickness matching the grain size. Ensure sufficient labour is available to complete full wall sections in one session, preventing visible joint marks where application areas meet.

For a consistent textured finish, we recommend using a plastic float to work the render surface in circular motions. This technique promotes uniform coverage and improves the finished appearance.
