Acrylic Render is a polymer-modified, thin-coat finish designed as a decorative layer for EWI systems. The 1.5mm grain size creates a textured surface that adds visual depth and character to facades.

This product works on both interior and exterior applications. We do not recommend EWI-010 for thermal wall insulation systems incorporating rigid mineral wool panels, or on moisture-prone substrates such as newly cast cellular concrete. For these scenarios, pair mineral wool insulation with EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render to achieve superior results.

Caution: When applying render to elevations with a large area, you should use colours with a brightness coefficient (diffuse reflection) of at least 20%. These coefficients are shown in the colour palette of EWI Pro plasters and paints.

Application

Applying EWI Acrylic Render System is straightforward using manual or spray application methods. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to achieve a thickness corresponding to the grain size. Ensure sufficient labour is available to apply the render system across complete wall sections rather than partial areas. This prevents visible joint lines where sections connect.

For a consistent, textured surface, apply a plastic float in gentle circular motions across the render surface. This method promotes even coverage and enhances the finished appearance.
