EWI Pro's Acrylic Render EWI-010 is a robust, weather-resistant finish engineered to protect and enhance external wall surfaces. As a thin-coat decorative finish for EWI systems, this acrylic render features a 1.5mm grain size that creates a distinctive textured appearance. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications, EWI-010 is not recommended for thermal wall insulation systems incorporating hard mineral wool panels or for moisture-prone substrates such as fresh cellular concrete. For these applications, EWI-040 Silicone Silicate render paired with mineral wool insulation systems is the preferred choice.

Caution: When applying render to elevations with a large area, you should use colours with a brightness coefficient (diffuse reflection) of at least 20%. These coefficients are shown in the colour palette of EWI Pro plasters and paints.

Application

The EWI Acrylic Render System can be applied manually or via spray application with ease. For hand application, employ a notched trowel to achieve a thickness corresponding to the grain size. Ensure sufficient labour is available to complete full wall sections in one application, preventing visible joints and colour variations between sections.

For a uniform, textured finish, apply a plastic float in gentle circular motions across the render surface. This technique promotes even coverage and enhances the final appearance.
