CERESIT® CT325 is a reinforcing mesh engineered for embedding into reinforcing mortars as part of CERESIT External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). When protecting façades or pedestals that experience greater mechanical stress, consider applying Ceresit CT 325 across two layers or selecting a higher density mesh rated at 330 g/m². This product is supplied in a convenient 1.1 metre width with 50 metres of length per roll.

Scope of Use

This reinforcing mesh embeds into reinforcing mortars within Ceresit CT325 External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems (ETICS). For façades or pedestals exposed to higher mechanical loads, it is recommended to use CT 325 in two layers or a higher density mesh of 330 g/m².

Application

1. Spread the prepared Ceresit reinforcing mortar evenly over the surface of the boards using a toothed trowel with 10-12mm teeth.
2. For mineral wool boards, apply a "priming" layer of mortar before distributing the main layer.
3. Immediately place the fiberglass mesh onto the prepared layer.
4. Embed the mesh using a metal trowel, smoothing it out completely. The properly applied mesh should not be visible and should be fully embedded in the mortar.
5. Ensure mesh overlaps on adjacent strips by about 10 cm. Avoid aligning mesh overlaps with the joints between the panels.
6. For corner holes in the walls (e.g., windows), embed additional mesh pieces diagonally, measuring approximately 20 x 30 cm.
