Applications

Thermal performance

Tested to BS EN 13162:2012 + A1:2015 achieving a thermal conductivity lambda (λ) value of 0.032 W/mK.

Fire performance

NyRock Frame Slab 90mm is non-combustible achieving a reaction to fire classification of A1, as defined in EN13501-1.

Acoustic performance

• The random fibre orientation and density of stone wool effectively traps sound waves and dampens vibrations, significantly reducing external noise transmission when used in an external wall insulation.
• When combined with NyRock Rainscreen 032 in an external wall with a rainscreen facade, NyRock Frame 032 can achieve acoustic performance as high as Rw 60dB in a typical wall system, verified by independent laboratory testing.
