30mm Rockwool RockLap Pipe Insulation (159mm Outer diameter) delivers pre-formed stone wool segments engineered for straightforward installation on pipework. Each section arrives pre-slit with factory-applied foil facing and self-adhesive lap, allowing rapid application and secure sealing with backing tape.
Designed for heating and ventilation pipe protection across residential, commercial, and industrial settings, these 30mm Pipe Insulation sections provide dependable thermal insulation performance. With over 60 years of proven results in varied climates and exposure scenarios, Rockwool delivers consistent thermal protection.
These cylindrical stone wool insulation segments arrive pre-slit for convenient installation, featuring reinforced foil facing with integral self-adhesive lap for efficient application.
Ideal for pipework operating between 0°C and 200°C, these RockLap sections excel at fire stopping where steel and copper pipes penetrate fire-resistant walls and floors. Continuous installation through separating elements eliminates costly local removal or replacement work.
• Euroclass A2L -s1,d0. • Tested to EN 1366-3, the harmonised European standard for the fire resistance of penetration seals. • Provide up to 120 minutes* fire resistance integrity and insulation.
30mm Rockwool RockLap H&V Pipe Sections are water repellent. However, when used or stored outdoors, the insulation should be protected with a waterproof covering. For cold pipe insulation, joints should be sealed with foil tape to prevent condensation.
30mm Rockwool Pipe insulation is suitable for insulating pipes operating between 0°C and 250°C. To maintain the bond strength of the foil facing, the insulation thickness should ensure that the outer surface temperature does not exceed 80°C.
Rockwool stone wool insulation products are highly resilient, durable, and dimensionally stable, maintaining their thickness and shape over time. Tests have shown that Rockwool insulation retains its insulating properties and characteristics for over 65 years after initial installation.
