150mm BEWI Claymaster Clay Heave Board

The 150mm BEWI Claymaster Insulation Board is a lightweight, compressible-fill material engineered to protect foundations from clay heave, shrinkage, and soil movement. This low-density, moisture-resistant expanded polystyrene void-fill board provides an effective protective barrier.

150mm Claymaster works by wrapping the pile cap in a layer of pink EPS insulation, reducing pressure on ground beams as surrounding clay expands and contracts with moisture changes.

This lightweight, straightforward-to-install board measures 2400mm x 1200mm and guards foundations against clay heave and movement-related complications. Shrinkable clays with high mineral content become rigid and cracked when dry, causing expansion and contraction cycles that can damage building structures. 150mm BEWI Claymaster EPS insulation comes in 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm thicknesses (150mm, 200mm and 300mm available to order) to match typical site requirements.
