The 100mm BEWI Claymaster Insulation Board is a compressible expanded polystyrene void-fill solution engineered to protect foundations from clay heave, soil movement, and moisture-related damage. 100mm Claymaster works by wrapping the pile cap with a pink EPS insulation layer that reduces pressure on ground beams as surrounding clay expands and contracts seasonally.

This durable board measures 2400mm x 1200mm and provides straightforward installation without specialist equipment. It shields foundations against the damaging effects of clay heave and prevents complications from moisture-induced ground movement.

Shrinkable clays contain high levels of fine mineral particles (under 0.002mm) that swell when wet and crack when dry. This expansion and contraction cycle, called 'clay heave,' can cause serious structural damage to buildings over time.
